Based on the previous DS8911 and NX8921, the new NX8931 features updated firmware, optimized for performance and efficiency, and a new modified and reinforced top case for increased durability.
Featuring automatic output detection, these new JR Smart Servos™ can be used with either conventional (PWM) or XBus installations for ease and flexibility. Programming is simple via your XBus-equipped JR XG-series DMSS transmitter, and not only can servo direction and travel be adjusted, but it is now possible to fine tune holding power, stopping speed, dead band, starting power, total servo travel, create an alarm if servo load exceeds a user-set limit, enable slow start, as well as enhanced failsafe features to help protect your servos in the event of signal loss.
Not using XBus- fear not. The NX8931 also features JR’s unique automatic output detection, so it can be used in standard configuration with either conventional (PWM) or XBus installations for ease and flexibility with virtually any brand of equipment.

Current NX8921 Owners can send their existing NX8921 servos to JR Americas for an upgrade to NX8931 specifications.
