JR - JRPSMPH83S - MPH83S Linear Hall Sensor Brushless Speed Servo (Reorder JRPSMP83S2)

The repetitive motion of a servo while in use places a large burden on each part. The recent development of brushless motors has increased the product life of servo motors dramatically. However, when determining servo position using existing potentiometers, long-period use causes wear inside the potentiometer parts so that smooth linear operation becomes impossible. To address this issue, the JR® brand has developed a new type of servo with non-contact position detection using Linear Hall ICs, which enable position detection using magnetic force. Using this technology, the JR brand has now perfected its next generation of MPH Series Linear Hall Sensing Servos.

A variety of receiver batteries are available on the model market. With certain batteries, the modeler must carefully choose appropriate servos or use a regulator between the battery and receiver; otherwise servos may be damaged due to a high voltage supply. Every WV servo has a micro computer to detect incoming voltage and automatically set the right voltage for the motor. Another sophisticated benefit of the new wide-voltage servos is the Slow Start function. When your system is switched on, instead of the servos instantly finding center as quickly as possible, Slow Start assures on initial power up that the servo returns to the neutral position very slowly. The benefit is that youll see longer life from the internal servo gears and less wear and tear on the linkages of the control surfaces.

Wherever the utmost accuracy is your aim, there is a JR Linear Hall Sensor servo to meet your needs. From the MPH83T that provides over 400 oz-in of power to your Giant-Scale model to the MPH83S that provides 0.007 sec/60º response speed to the cyclic control of your helicopter, youll enjoy performance thats delivered at a lower power consumption rate and operation thats ultra quiet. And, because tail control is so important for helicopter pilots, theres also the MPH83G gyro servo, where Linear Hall Senor technology proves the ultimate benefit.

The motor used in this series of servos is a low-maintenance brushless motor that ensures long life and near instantaneous response. Youll feel the difference the moment you take off on your first flight.
